This policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding vehicle returns and refunds.
Your Statutory Rights
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.
All vehicles sold must be:
Of satisfactory quality
Fit for purpose
As described
The 30-Day Short-Term Right to Reject
If your vehicle develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, you have the right to reject the vehicle and receive a full refund, provided that:
The fault was present at the time of sale, and
The fault is not due to misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear
Refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
After 30 Days – Repair or Replacement
If a fault occurs after 30 days but within 6 months:
We are entitled to one opportunity to repair or replace the vehicle.
If the repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction.
A reasonable deduction may be made for usage.
After 6 months, the burden of proof shifts to the customer to show the fault existed at the time of sale.
What Is Not Covered
Refunds or returns will not be accepted for:
Fair wear and tear consistent with age and mileage
Cosmetic defects disclosed before purchase
Consumable items (e.g. tyres, brake pads, bulbs, batteries)
Faults caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind on vehicles purchased in person.
Used vehicles are not returnable simply because you have changed your mind.
Distance Sales (Online / Off-Premises Purchases)
If you purchase a vehicle without viewing it in person, you may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Please note:
The vehicle must be returned in a similar condition to when supplied
Excessive use may result in a deduction for usage
Delivery and return costs may not be refundable
Any damage beyond reasonable inspection may affect the refund
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable, unless we are unable to supply the vehicle or there is a legal right to cancel.
Deposits may be refunded where a valid rejection is accepted under consumer law.
Refund Process
If a refund is agreed:
Refunds will be processed within 14 days
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method
Finance agreements will be settled with the finance provider directly
Part Exchange Vehicles
If a refund is issued after a part exchange, we may:
Return the part exchange vehicle (if still available), or
Deduct its agreed value from the refund
